CYCLE TOURISM

We believe it is important to promote the idea of “cylceability”, that is, the use of bicycle as a means of individual transportation, both in a urban and extraurban environment. Cycle mobility is characterised by its non generation of atmospheric or acoustic pollution, its minimal use of sole and as having excellent energy efficiency. Furthermore it allows to get out of the usually proposed itineraries, which often focus on individual iconic attractions, guaranteeing a privileged point of view on the territory. That is also why cycling fosters relationships between people and their surrounding environment, stimulating a critical approach to the territory and its social context, giving body to the idea of responsible tourism.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Promoting eco-compatible practices by choosing cycle tourism, a way of travelling with zero environmental impact. Cycling is a means of transportation that is inexpensive, effective and efficient, it allows to get out of the usually proposed itineraries, which often focus on individual iconic attractions, guaranteeing a privileged point of view on the territory. It also has the added value of being among the forms of transportation with the best energy-space ratio, as such is a great tool for physical training and mental relaxation.

SOCIAL INTEGRATION

We hope to generate some thoughts, today more relevant than ever, on the concept of boundaries, instruments to define a collective identity and as such a sense of belonging to a community, but at the same time obstacles to the process of inclusion that the growing global migration flows would call for.
